Guess what?
My inspired look series is back after how many years now?
I know, its been so long!
The reason it’s been so long is that since I did quite a lot of inspired looks in the past, especially in kpop, I felt like I overdid it, and according to my stats, it looks like many are still interested.
So, it has risen from the dead.
I’m not sure how many I’ll be doing, depending on how many I can make while job hunting.
So…
Let’s begin, shall we?
If you don’t know who Wonyoung is, she’s a very well-known K-pop idol (Korean celebrity) who is in a Kpop girl group called IVE.
From what I have seen, she’s admired by many; however, others find her problematic due to various reasons.
Since I gave some information about her, this blog post will be a tad different from my previous inspired looks since I’ll write more about the inspired outfits and what made me choose the clothing rather than displaying without the description.
The only thing I’m not changing is the pricing since I want to make sure it’s affordable to the majority.
Plus, it’ll be in British pounds since I live in the UK.
I went onto her Instagram page and picked six to create the inspired outfits.
Instagram Inspired Look 1
What I was going for was I wanted this inspired outfit to look similar to the original since I wanted it to look ‘authentic’. I made sure to include everything in the photo shown above and not miss anything. Finding an affordable version or replica of the heart-shaped bag was difficult to find online, so I decided to go for something quite similar.
The reason I chose this outfit was because the whole vibe was cute, and I liked how the colours and the rest of the look matched the theme of the event.

What I like about her Miu Miu outfit is that it’s casual and laid back, if that makes sense. Moreover, this is like a typical day out that you would wear when strolling around. Putting together this inspired outfit wasn’t difficult compared to the rest since it was like putting together a casual everyday outfit.

Whether you agree with me or not, this whole outfit reminds me of St. Trinian’s.
I don’t know why, don’t ask 😂
Maybe it’s because (to me) this outfit reminds me of the typical preppy rich kid look you would see in book series or TV and Film.
With this inspired outfit, I feel proud of myself since it looks the most similar to the original, and when it comes to the bag, I picked the same one since Wonyoung was carrying the same Miu Miu bag.

Recreating this look was the easiest since I didn’t have to search a lot online, and from what I can see, I didn’t include the bottom half of her outfit. If you watch IVE’s MV ‘Either Way’, she was wearing white socks with white trainers with blue and red stripes. I like the simplicity of her look in the MV.

What I like about this is it screams cosy and warm, which I like since the weather is getting colder. Another reason is that it’s something I would wear at home.
I think I did well when replicating this look since it looks similar to the original; however, I struggled to find a cropped hoodie like hers and decided to go for a typical fluffy white hoodie.

Last but not least.
Searching for it wasn’t too bad until I had to find a tweed outfit similar to what she was wearing.
I made sure the colours were the same or similar and did not go off from it.
So, I picked this tweed outfit due to how it’s quite close to the original in terms of the colour scheme, and the only difference is the ruffles.
