In this blog post, I want to share my experience moving into a house. Since I’m seventeen years old, I still live with my parents.

Moving into a new home

 

 

The last time,  I moved houses with my family was 10 years ago. 10 years ago, I was seven years old so I quite fully remember moving into a new house.

When my mum or dad (I can’t remember) parked their car, I was excited so my mum or my dad (Again, I can’t remember, it has been 10 years) opened the front door. I was confused that the front door was on the side instead of the front.  My sisters and I walked in and looked in the living room, the kitchen, dining room, basically the whole of downstairs.

After, I ran upstairs and looked at every room in excitement. I wanted to have a separate room from my sisters but I couldn’t.  The first room that I saw is the room I am staying in right now.

Autumn 2007

My family and I made this house into a home by adding items that were in my old house and enjoyed life.

2008 – present

We’ve added photographs in our living room of my family.

The photographs that are up in my living room and dining table.

 

 

 

Advice

“My” advice for anyone who is moving into a new house or apartment

Since I’m not an expert in giving an advice, this is what my older siblings said

1. Take pictures of the space before buying the furniture or decorating

2. If you are moving in with people, make sure they are the right people

3. Save, save, save

4. Don’t stress yourself out

5. Lastly, don’t let negativity ruin your moving out day

I would like to use a charcoal black trim frame for my primary school photo and lvory rose gold trim frame for my family photo.

My favourite photo from my parents’ house is a photograph of me when I was 8 or 9 years old because it brings me back to my childhood days.

 

 

Also, there’s a photo of me when I was five or six years old.
