Gym intimidation is very common.
I have been through it as well
During my summer holiday in Vancouver, I went to the gym with my sisters. When I entered the gym, I quite felt intimidated because most people in the gym looked fit and healthy. I didn’t let that bother me.
What you should do when you feel intimidated in the gym
1. Focus on what you could do in the gym
2. Bring a friend to motivate you
3. Think of positive things
4. Inhale and exhale to calm you down
5. Don’t let anxiety take over you!
If you are too scared to go to the gym, use a fitness app so you can excise at home.
I know it’s not easy to overcome a fear of going to the gym. It doesn’t’ take two seconds to overcome your fears going to the gym, It actually takes a lot of time to overcome your fears going to the gym, trust me.
You’ll get better.
