Hello readers,

Last week, I decided to download the app that is made for students called campus society after I watched a few of UK revision YouTubers promoting it.

The main reason I downloaded the app is actually that I want to meet other individuals who will be in the same course and accommodation as myself (since I don’t know anyone who is going to the same uni as me)

In this blog post, I will deeply review the app and share my final opinion on this app which will be my conclusion. Lastly, I will rate this app out of five and recommend if this app is worth your time if you’re new to the whole university thing like myself.

So let’s get started

What is campus society?

Campus society is where you meet and communicate with people who are going to the same university or studying the same course as you.

Facts about campus society

• The app is recommended by UCAS according to the app store
• The founder of campus society launched the app four years ago
• Campus society is one of the fastest- growing student communities online
• The founder Rashid Ajami created campus society after he found it difficult to find like-minded students from his own personal network

The Channel page

The channel page is where you can create your own channel (however you want) by sharing your topic of interest, create a blog, anything!

You can also create a channel privately if you don’t want it to go public.

There are university and course channels you can join!

I joined at least two.

Let’s move on to the explore page!

The explore page is where you explore the lastest/popular channels and other channels that you love on the featured page.

You can click on your university or university degrees to see what others are discussing. You can also join a group and read different blog posts.

The network page is where people who are going to different universities post, like, comment and share.

The Message page: literally message people who are going to the same uni as you.

The Notifications page: shows different and updated activities, for example, someone started following you on CS (Campus Society) 1min ago.

The positives

• Can make friends with people before you go to uni
• Create a blog to share your advice, opinions and more
• Discover different accommodations

The Negatives

• Difficult to tell if someone read your message
• Some channels are not active, which is boring
• The app is boring sometimes

Do I recommend this app to anyone?

Definitely!

If you’re nervous about going to uni, a shy or an introverted person, I think Campus Society is easier for you to make friends and communicate with people who are going to the same university as you.
