I Tried Three TikTok Recipes (one of them failed)

Hello readers

I haven’t been blogging for a long since I started my masters!

Recently, I graduated from my university with my bachelors degree which I’m satisfied. A lot has happened in my life since I last uploaded my previous blog post which I am planning to delete.

In This blog post, i tried three TikTok recipes since I was curious and had nothing else to do.

Scissor noodles

For the scissors noodles, I followed the exact instructions as the video expect; I didn’t make the same sauce as the person in the video, but Instead added red pesto sauce.

After watching this short clip, I was amazed how simply mixing ingredients can turn into a meal, which I could have done in university (when I was broke).

The process was quick.

I’ve made different recipes involving scissors noodles, and in one recipe, I used wholemeal flour instead of white flour.

Another recipe that did that is primarily popular among people is TikTok pasta.

I’ve heard about it before from many people and how it is easy to make.

You don’t have to be a pro to make it.

I added a block of feta cheese onto the dish with spinach and seasoned it with thyme, salt (to enhance the flavour), and chicken seasoning.

Failed recipe: Pasta chips

I have seen this recipe on various platforms such as YouTube shorts, and thought it was good to try it myself; however, I overcooked it in the air fryer, and the texture was awful. Unfortunately, I don’t have photos of it since I forgot, and I’m glad that I didn’t cause it wasn’t delightful!

Here’s the video of how it’s made.

Taste test scores

Scissors noodles: 5/5

Reasons: I loved the pasta-like texture and taste; it goes with pasta sauce and other sauce and is even a great replacement for pasta (if you run out or craving it).

TikTok pasta: 5/5

Reasons: Everyone loved it, and it’s easy to make without many pots and pans.

Pasta chips: 0/5

Reasons: I overcooked it, and it turned out badly (that was my fault).

Thank you for reading my review on TikTok recipes, and I hope to find more creative recipes there.
