Taste Test: Trying Asian Snacks

Hello 👋

When I went to visit my friend in town, we both (I mean me) decided to go into a Japanese shop that sells other Asian snacks/food. They also cook Japanese food in the shop which I want to try.

While I was in the Japanese shop with my friend, I decided to buy at least three Asian snacks I was very curious about.

Note: to be honest, it was a risky choice for me since I was spending quite a lot of money that my parents gave me.

These are the Asian snacks I’ve bought from the store.

1. Pocky coco banana 🍌🍫

Country: Thailand 🇹🇭

the pocky has a sweet strong banana smell and I can taste the banana but can’t really taste the chocolate. It’s Very delicious overall.

2. Taiwanese Mochi 🥜

Country: Taiwan🇹🇼

The Moche has a very soft texture which is kind of a turn off for me, However, I liked the taste of the sesame seed filling. It’s tastes like peanut butter. When I first tried it, I wasn’t sure if I liked it or not. But the more I ate it, the more I enjoyed it.

3. Japanese mochi green tea 🍵

Country: Japan 🇯🇵

The Japanese Moche tasted very nice and again, the texture had really put me off at first. The green tea filling taste like a prune. I like the way the Moche is packaged and presented neatly. It has a soft texture which is okay with me.

That’s it!

Thank you for reading this and I apologise for this short blog post since I didn’t buy a lot of snacks.

There will be a few changes in terms of my blog schedule which are

  1. Blog posts will be uploaded every week.

2. I’ll be active on WordPress plus Instagram

If I take a week off, that would mean I’m busy.

Hope you have a wonderful week and bye.👋
