Hello Readers!
Welcome to this blog post where I try her recipes and rate it based on preparation, presentation and taste!
During quarantine, I watched a few of Chloe Ting recipe videos on YouTube and thought, why not try some of her recipes to see if I like it.

Before I began, I wanted to pick at least two recipes that would be 1, simple and 2, quick.
The recipes I chose were the beef nachos and her frozen banana recipe.

What I did

I cut the potatoes into slices carefully.

Then, I used the kitchen towel to get rid of the moister by covering it on top of the potato slices and pat it down.

Got my grease-proof paper and placed it on my oven tray.
Next, I placed the potato slices one by one and like what Chloe did, I added corn starch, drizzled oil and a pinch of salt.
After, I placed it in the oven for at least 30 -40 minutes.

I added lime in the guacamole.
Made pico de gallo without the coriander since I didn’t have any in the house and used spinach from the freezer instead.
Got my left over minced beef from the fridge.
Placed everything together like what Chloe did and fin!

Taste Test
Loved the taste of the potatoes; however, I should have added more salt.
The meal was really light and it’s a healthy alternative for nacho chips.
I wasn’t bloated after this meal.
The guacamole, however, was too sour and that was my mistake (I added too much lime lol).
The whole process overall took me almost two hours.
Would I make it again?
Yes but occasionally since my parents and sisters like this recipe.

2. Frozen Banana recipe

What I did

Peeled a banana and cut in half since the toothpick I have at home is small.

I poured the chocolate chips into a plastic container and put it in the microwave until it was fully melted.

Put the nuts into a sandwich bag and smashed it with a rolling pin.

Smeared the chocolate on both bananas evenly and sprinkled nuts on top.
Inserted three toothpicks into the bottom end of the banana and repeated it for the second half.
Put the treats into a sandwich bag carefully and I put it in the freezer for two hours.
Fin!
Test Taste
I liked the texture and the taste of the frozen banana reminded me of ice cream.
It’s sounds weird but I added cinnamon for extra flavour.
